About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Infectious Disease Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and use modern wound care modalities and a proprietary wound-specific electronic medical record to document care in real time at the point of care. This is a mobile practice serving facilities within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Physicians typically visit two to three facilities and treat approximately 20–30 patients per day. The role offers full-time work four to five days per week, or part-time work at a minimum of three days per week, Monday through Friday. Full-time hours are listed as 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no night, on-call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The posting states that W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, and lists a salary range of $200,000–$350,000 per year. Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
Commit to at least three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
