About The Position

The National Wound Physician Group is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician for a position offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance. This role involves providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. Physicians will receive comprehensive training in wound management from experienced trainers and Fellowship Directors, utilizing advanced clinical technologies and wound care modalities. The position emphasizes patient care with minimal paperwork. Physicians are W2 employees and can expect to earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding and through a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
Perform clinical documentation in real-time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
