About The Position

For 60 years, Phoenixville Area Children’s Learning Centers (PACLC) has provided children with an environment of love and learning. As a nonprofit early childhood education program, we create safe, nurturing, play-based environments where children build relationships, explore their world, and develop the skills they need to thrive. Our teachers are at the heart of what we do. We offer a supportive, collaborative workplace where educators are valued, encouraged to grow, and given the opportunity to make a meaningful difference for children and families. We are looking for warm, dependable, and experienced Infant and Toddler Teachers who genuinely enjoy working with our youngest learners. Our teachers create nurturing classrooms where children feel safe, loved, and supported as they explore, learn, and reach important developmental milestones.

Requirements

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher required
• At least 2 years of experience working with children required
• Knowledge of infant and toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices
• A warm, patient, and responsive approach to caring for young children
• Dependable, organized, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Current PA clearances and First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
• A genuine passion for helping infants and toddlers learn, grow, and thrive

Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing, responsive care that supports each child’s individual needs and development.
• Create engaging, play-based learning experiences for infants and toddlers.
• Support developmental milestones in language, movement, social-emotional development, and early learning.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom environment.
• Follow individual feeding, sleeping, diapering, and care routines while encouraging growing independence.
• Observe children’s development and use those observations to plan meaningful experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children and families through consistent communication.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership to provide high-quality care.
