About The Position

The Infant/Toddler Teacher plays a critical role in supporting the healthy development, safety, and early learning of our youngest children. You will help create warm, responsive environments while implementing high-quality programming aligned with CCG standards, Early Head Start Performance Standards, NAEYC criteria, and all licensing regulations. This role requires a passion for nurturing relationships, strong teamwork, and a commitment to quality early childhood practices.

Requirements

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate’s Degree in child development or a related field.
  • One year of experience working with young children.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and a strong desire to work with infants and toddlers.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and volunteers.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment, including daily setup and support of learning centers.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with RC3, including curriculum preparation and child assessments.
  • Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and families, participating in meetings and conferences.
  • Collaborate with classroom teams, supporting daily routines and stepping in for the Lead Teacher when needed.
  • Maintain required documentation and acquire proficiency in CCG’s designated data systems (training provided).
