About The Position

A family in Encino, California, is seeking an experienced, attentive, and engaging temporary part-time nanny to care for an infant who will be approximately five months old at the start of the assignment. The assignment runs from December 1, 2026, through January 30, 2027. The schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, plus alternating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The nanny will provide developmentally appropriate care and follow the family's established feeding, nap, and wake-window routines. Experience caring for infants with reflux is especially important because the baby currently experiences reflux and requires consistent, knowledgeable support. The family seeks a warm, active, and engaging caregiver who enjoys supporting infant development through age-appropriate play, sensory experiences, outdoor time, and early learning opportunities. The nanny should also be comfortable supporting the baby's upcoming transition to solid foods. Duties include preparing bottles, assisting with the transition to solids, handling baby-related laundry and cleaning bottles and utensils, tidying and organizing nursery and play areas, and regularly communicating with the parents about the baby's day. Candidates must be available for the full assignment and scheduled days, arrive well-rested, and not work directly after an overnight shift. Experienced Newborn Care Specialists are welcome.
