About The Position

Early Childhood Educators provide a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that supports children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. The Infant Assistant Educator plans and prepares learning activities, provides individualized care, monitors children’s development, and maintains a safe, clean classroom. The role also involves communicating with families and team members and completing annual professional development required by Great Start to Quality.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current immunizations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize responsibilities.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, email, and parent communication platforms.

Nice To Haves

Previous childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement weekly lesson plans and prepare necessary materials.
Document children’s daily activities and progress using the parent communication app.
Monitor developmental milestones and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
Provide individualized care, including feeding, diapering, potty training, meals, and naps.
Maintain children’s home routines and support transitions between home and school or classrooms.
Supervise and engage children in safe, age-appropriate activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom while following emergency procedures.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with families and team members.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Complete 24 hours of annual professional development as required by Great Start to Quality, with training topics including CPR/First Aid, health and safety, child development, and supervision.
