About The Position
La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Infant and Toddler Teacher to provide daily care and learning experiences for children in a child care center. The teacher follows licensing guidelines and company standards, observes and assesses children, plans for their development, and communicates effectively with families. The role includes completing extensive training on child care, preschool, and child development topics, and implementing the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive learning experiences. The teacher must be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- At least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
- A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
- Ability to meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
