About The Position

As an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher at La Petite Academy, you will care for children in your classroom while following licensing guidelines and company standards. You will observe and assess children, plan learning activities, communicate with families, and implement the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive learning experiences. The role includes extensive training in child care, preschool, and child development. The workweek is Monday through Friday, and the position requires engaging in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
• Have a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
• Meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in the classroom.
• Observe and assess children and plan for their learning and development.
