About The Position

Primacy is seeking seasoned industry leaders to drive growth in our largest and most dynamic verticals: Higher Education, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Manufacturing. We’re looking for senior strategists with client-side experience in any of these sectors—professionals who can consult with and advise executive leadership, while guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver digital solutions that create measurable business impact. Prior agency experience is highly preferred as well. You’ll combine thought leadership with hands on client impact: partnering with CMOs/CIOs and their teams to turn industry trends to evolve digital experiences, web development projects, and performance marketing outcomes. This is a highly visible role developing thought leadership, leading pitch teams and co-presenting with client at various industry events driven by strategy and industry knowledge. This role is perfect for those strategic, pragmatic and forward looking with a passion for one or more of said verticals. Measures: Client outcomes: measurable improvements across experience KPIs (engagement, conversion), brand metrics, and marketing ROI. New business impact: contribution to pipeline, new sales and upsells Billable revenue Reports to: SVP, Strategic Services

Requirements

  • 10+ years in one or more verticals, experience in senior marketing or technology roles driving strategy and digital solutions
  • Deep understanding of the industry(s) market forces, customer journeys, and the digital ecosystem (ie: AI, Healthcare tech stacks like Epic, CMS, CRM, analytics, personalization, accessibility, HIPAA/security considerations, Financial and Healthcare regulatory practices).
  • Agency experience with ability to consult and advise with senior executives defining digital centric solutions to complex challenges.
  • Track record of winning and growing accounts, crafting proposals, setting clear KPIs, and delivering ROI.
  • Published thought leadership and frequent speaking engagements in healthcare, higher ed, fin serv, and/or manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to build productive relationships with VP/SVP/C suite leaders and influence complex stakeholder environments.
  • Builder’s mindset: ability to create (POVs, frameworks, tools) and lead cross functional teams to execute at pace.
  • Communication excellence: compelling storyteller with outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Own senior relationships across a rotating roster of approx. 3–5 strategic industry specific clients; become a trusted advisor on brand, digital experience, data/MarTech, and growth strategy.
  • Diagnose & design solutions: connect enterprise goals to customer journeys, omnichannel content, accessibility/compliance, analytics, and performance marketing.
  • Lead activation with cross functional teams (Experience, Creative, Technology, Performance Marketing and Account Management): create roadmaps, define KPIs, and ensure measurable outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives to grow Primacy’s vertical practices and increase revenue in Higher Education, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Manufacturing
  • Proactively identify opportunities, lead presales team strategy, and partner with Business Development on proposals and pitch presentations.
  • Set excellence standards for the industries’ portfolios (quality, content throughput, client satisfaction) and lead reviews/retrospectives.
  • Codify and scale knowledge: build playbooks (e.g., college, bank, manufacturing company, provider experience, payer member journeys, biopharma HCP engagement, annuities, insurance), case studies, and enablement materials.
  • Represent Primacy in the market: speak at industry events, host client roundtables, publish articles, and cultivate strategic partnerships.
