About The Position

Salesforce is seeking an experienced Senior Industry Product Marketing Manager to join its Financial Services industries team. This role will focus on driving awareness of how Salesforce solutions address industry-specific challenges and support future success in the era of the agentic enterprise. The position involves close collaboration with Sales, Industry Advisors, and the Product organization to develop and execute go-to-market plans. Successful candidates will demonstrate strengths in strategy, storytelling, stakeholder alignment, and AI orchestration. Salesforce marketers are encouraged to leverage AI to enhance their work and better serve stakeholders and customers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product marketing or related experience, ideally in SaaS or enterprise technology.
  • Working knowledge of the Financial Services industry (banking, wealth and asset management, and insurance) sufficient to speak credibly with customers and Sales.
  • A track record of turning market and competitive signals into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans that Sales uses.
  • Experience developing content across the funnel, from thought leadership to sales playbooks, and understanding which format earns attention at each stage.
  • Comfort presenting on stage and coaching other speakers, including executives, through scripts and talk tracks for keynotes and breakouts.
  • Proven ability to work independently with executives (internal and customers).
  • Scrappy and comfortable with ambiguity; does not let ego get in the way of getting the job done.
  • Strong cross-functional influence with Sales, Product, Industry Advisors, and marketing peers without needing formal authority to get alignment.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools in a marketing context; Claude Code, Slack Skills, and Gemini required.
  • A bias toward building and testing AI-assisted workflows rather than waiting for someone else to hand you the process.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the range to write both a data sheet and a keynote script.

Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market plans for the Financial Services industry (banking, wealth and asset management, and insurance) that drive pipe, help Sales close ACV, and drive customer adoption, by leveraging market signals, competitive intelligence, and Sales data.
  • Craft a messaging strategy and broader narrative that articulates the value of the Salesforce platform, including its agentic AI capabilities, for the Financial Services industry.
  • Create compelling content (e-books, data sheets, thought leadership, demo videos, sales playbooks) that avoids jargon, provides value, and performs well in different parts of the funnel.
  • Engage directly with customers and their executives to develop success stories and compelling event content, representing Salesforce in high-stakes conversations with credibility, judgment, and executive presence.
  • Align stakeholders across Salesforce's matrixed organization, knowing when to involve them and how to manage multiple asks, demonstrating executive presence.
  • Own event narrative and storytelling, including session ownership from content strategy to translating corporate messages for Financial Services, and sometimes delivering content on stage.
  • Develop scripts and slides for oneself and other speakers for keynotes and breakout sessions at Salesforce-owned and third-party events, and present on stage and in executive reviews.
  • Own industry pages on the website, ensuring they are updated with the latest messaging and positioning, and use data to maximize this channel.
  • Create compelling content for webinars to keep the audience engaged.
  • Utilize AI as a starting point for all responsibilities and develop AI projects to improve team effectiveness, with experience in Claude Code, Slack Skills, and Gemini being a must.
