Industrialization Triage Leader

Stellantis•Auburn Hills, MI

About The Position

Stellantis is seeking a Vehicle Industrialization Lead Engineer to direct and coordinate troubleshooting and repair activities for prototype and production-level vehicles at engineering and supplier sub-assembly sites, manufacturing facilities, special events, and fleet locations. The role supports launch activities at assembly plants, pilot plants, and supplier sub-assembly sites; conducts repairs and customer audit testing; participates in management update meetings; investigates problems identified on early prototype vehicles; and coordinates interim and long-term solutions with component releasing engineers. The Engineer brings together teams from multiple engineering disciplines to solve complex vehicle problems and provides remote and direct support to dealerships facing difficult vehicle issues, working with zone representatives who support those dealerships. The role also performs electrical validation testing and documents results. The position supports early initiatives through Process Standard (PS)/Diagnostic Definition Table (DDT) reviews and Product Assurance Team (PAT)/End-Of-Line (EOL) reviews. It proves out required routines on a bench and plywood buck and assists with plywood buck builds and troubleshooting. The Engineer may also support modular supplier EOL test development by coordinating with Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), engineering cross-functional teams, and modular assemblers to provide technical information, co-lead supplier meetings, review test processes, and help maintain program timing. The role documents issues and program status for Vehicle Teams and conducts on-site reviews throughout pilot program stages, including Start of Production.
