Industrialization - Q - Team Leader

Stellantis•Auburn Hills, MI

About The Position

Stellantis is seeking an Electrical Production Execution Engineer to direct and coordinate troubleshooting and repair activities for prototype and production vehicles at engineering sites, supplier sub-assembly locations, manufacturing facilities, special events, and fleet locations. The Engineer supports launch activities at assembly plants, pilot plants, and supplier sub-assembly facilities. Duties include conducting repairs and customer audit testing, participating in management update meetings, investigating problems with early prototype engineering vehicles, and coordinating interim and long-term solutions with component releasing engineers. The role brings together engineering teams from multiple disciplines to resolve complex vehicle problems, provides remote and direct support to dealerships facing difficult vehicle problems, works with zone representatives supporting dealerships, and performs electrical validation testing and documents results. The Engineer also supports Process Standard (PS) and Diagnostic Definition Table (DDT) reviews; Product Assurance Team (PAT) and End-Of-Line (EOL) reviews; proves out required routines on a bench and plywood buck; and assists with plywood buck builds and troubleshooting. The role may support modular supplier EOL test development by coordinating with Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) and modular assemblers. The Engineer interfaces with cross-functional engineering teams to obtain technical information, including wiring designs and component diagnostics, for modular assemblers developing EOL tests. They co-lead modular supplier meetings with SQA, review supplier processes to ensure robust test flows that detect issues in-system, document issues and program status for Vehicle Teams, and conduct on-site reviews throughout pilot program stages, including Start of Production.
