About The Position

United Central Industrial Supply, a SunSource company, is seeking a motivated Account Manager (Outside Sales) to develop new business and strengthen relationships with existing customers throughout the Shinnston, WV area. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building customer partnerships, managing a territory, and helping customers find the right industrial solutions. You'll be supported by experienced branch teams while representing a broad portfolio of industry-leading industrial and safety products.

Requirements

1+ years of industrial outside sales experience.
Proven ability to develop business and build long-term customer relationships.
Strong communication, organization, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight travel.
High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

Experience selling industrial products such as hydraulic hose and fittings, industrial hose, MRO products, safety equipment, gas detection, lubricants, filtration, electrical products, wire and cable, or industrial supplies is preferred.
Experience selling to mining customers is highly desirable.
bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Grow sales by developing new business and expanding existing customer accounts.
Build strong relationships with industrial and mining customers through regular in-person visits.
Develop and execute a territory sales plan to maximize market share.
Identify customer needs and recommend products and solutions.
Partner with branch, inventory, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional service.
Utilize CRM and sales tools to effectively manage your territory and opportunities.
