About The Position

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Industrial Store Manager position. The Industrial Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of his/her store. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Plans, implements and documents staff meetings and education programs Supervises the testing, evaluating, documentation and maintenance of adequate inventory Evaluates, documents and rectifies all safety hazards in and around the office and warehouse Works with store personnel to meet all customer requirements Communicates and resolves problems with customers Assists in preparing driver routes, logs route changes and driver communication on route sheets as they occur Reviews profit margin reports, incoming and outgoing statements Controls store inventory and expenses Hires, disciplines, and terminates staff, as needed Coordinates staffing schedules, tracks employee attendance, punctuality Leads, trains, develops and motivates department’s employees Prioritizes and delegates job tasks to staff to ensure timely completion Budgets and approves of departmental expenditures Performs other tasks as assigned or necessary

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent, college degree preferred
  • Prior sales and/or management experience
  • Ability to effectively supervise and manage personnel
  • Strong organizational and problems solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the position
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally, to a height of 36"
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
