About The Position

The Industrial Services Foreman is considered a “working” foreman and manages the daily scope of work while performing tasks associated with hazardous and non-hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, facility & equipment decontamination, above ground and underground tank cleaning activities, and confined space entry projects. This position provides leadership and direction to crews performing work and is the liaison between VLS and the client.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Must pass pre-employment criteria
Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

Practices safe work by following all company safety rules and OSHA regulations.
Maintains client relationships at customer sites.
Ensures client standards are attained by prioritizing projects.
Manages time and the ability to meet deadlines.
Assigns work tasks to crew members, procures, required materials, files work orders, and maintains records of projects.
Communicates directly with client, VLS supervisor, & project managers.
Completes JSA’s, conducts site inspections, provides hands-on leadership, and provides guidance.
Trains personnel with strong emphasis on safety.
Drives and maintains company vehicles.
Completion of associated paperwork, including but not limited to daily worksheets, tailgate safety sheets, vehicle inspections, equipment inspections, and health and safety requirements / permits
Effectively complete forms. Reads and understand procedures and safety information
Other duties as assigned.
