About The Position

ISM is seeking a Saw Operator to join its manufacturing team. The role involves setting up and operating a saw to cut metal materials to part specifications, taking accurate measurements, and identifying defects. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but full training will be provided. The job requires the ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand written English, including work instructions, blueprints, and safety operating manuals.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous experience using measuring tools and devices.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the saw machine.
• Cut metal material according to instructions and part specifications.
• Identify defects and adjust as needed.
• Load, unload, transport, and move materials as necessary.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Use basic math and measuring tools to ensure accurate material sizing.
