About The Position
The Saw Operator cuts steel to blueprint specifications, prepares steel orders for the Machine Shop Supervisor, identifies and marks steel as it is delivered, and performs a 100% inspection of all cut steel. The position is located at Lincoln Electric’s Macomb - Mile location.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Must know how to read a scale in both metric and Imperial units.
- Must have basic print-reading skills.
Responsibilities
- Cut steel to blueprint specifications.
- Write up steel to be ordered by the Machine Shop Supervisor.
- Identify and mark steel as it is delivered.
- Inspect all steel that is cut.
