About The Position

ISM is seeking a Saw Operator to join its manufacturing team. The role involves setting up and operating a saw, cutting metal materials to part specifications, measuring materials accurately, and identifying defects. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but full training will be provided. The job requires the ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects. Forklift experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand written English, including work instructions, blueprints, and safety operating manuals.
• Basic math skills.
• Previous experience using measuring tools and devices.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects.
• Experience working with metals and/or in manufacturing is preferred; full training will be provided.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the saw machine.
• Cut metal material according to instructions and part specifications.
• Identify defects and adjust accordingly.
• Load, unload, transport, and move material as necessary.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures.
