We have an exciting opportunity for an Product Manager in our growing Industrial product development team. Primary Purpose: Work closely with our engineering, supply chain, sales, marketing, and technical service teams on a variety of tasks designed to bring new products to market. Effectively manage and communicate the strategic category plan and annual planning horizons to cross-functional teams. Work with internal sourcing team and third-party vendors to ensure a competitive cost, high quality and timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• Strong experience in a dynamic product management role.
• Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
• High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• 3+ years of product management experience.
• Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies.
• Proficient with Microsoft suite of products to include PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills; in person, on the phone, in writing, and on video calls.
• Detail oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy; ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience launching products sold within consumer retail, independent dealers, rental and industrial channels of distribution.
• A solid understanding of the e-commerce, retail, and industrial buying environments.
• Experience within the outdoor power equipment or power tool industry is a plus.
• Bilingual communication skills in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams.
• Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements.
• Analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates FNA across primary market segments.
• Provide back-up support for other areas as necessary.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
