About The Position

Sheridan Brimfield, a CJK Group company, is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain operation-critical production lines used to produce catalogs, commercial print, and educational materials. The role diagnoses and repairs electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems, performs preventive and corrective maintenance, and works with production teams to minimize downtime and prevent recurring failures. Requirements

4–6+ years of experience maintaining and installing industrial equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
Hands-on experience with high-voltage systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and safely follow lockout/tagout procedures.
Ability to follow instructions, make sound decisions, work independently, and contribute to a team.
Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with electrical codes and PLC troubleshooting and/or programming.
Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Welding and light fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues on production equipment to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and ladder logic to isolate faults.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using hand and power tools and test equipment.
Collaborate with production to prioritize work orders, support changeovers, and reduce repeat failures.
Document maintenance activities and recommend reliability improvements.
