About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Clarksville, TN. This is a long-term assignment with weekly pay. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. You will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while following safety, quality, and preventive maintenance standards. This is a Full Time opportunity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of specialized industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of basic industrial electricity, high and low voltage, and AC/DC currents.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
• Possess basic hand tools to complete most tasks; specialized tools will be provided.
• Experience and ability reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Basic mathematical skills including all units of measure, fractions, and decimals.

• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with all levels of personnel (both individually and in a team environment).
• Must be able to interface and communicate with line operators and facility personnel to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrates organizational skills and is very detail oriented.
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-pace, multi-task manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Complete maintenance documentation and update repair records.
• Support production by minimizing equipment downtime and identifying root causes of issues.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and quality standards.
• Communicate equipment status and maintenance needs with operators, supervisors, and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with training as needed.
