About The Position
Recycle Minnesota in Lakeville, Minnesota, is hiring a safety-conscious Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. The role focuses on the overall health and maintenance of the plant and its supporting machine centers, including inspections, diagnosing issues, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, grinder, shredder, and conveyor systems. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week on second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of proven experience in the field is preferred.
- Ability to work a 40-hour week.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor to major repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Respond to plant service calls and breakdowns.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate requirements and OSHA and NFPA standards.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair plant mechanical, hydraulic, grinder, shredder, and conveyor systems.
