About The Position
The maintenance mechanic performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery and facilities to support continuous and safe operations. The role includes preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
- Comfort working in noisy, dusty, hot, or cold environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair or replace motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment.
- Use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Support installation and setup of new equipment or machinery.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and enter data into AMMS.
- Follow safety procedures, including Fall Protection, Hot Work, Confined Space, and Lockout/Tagout.
