About The Position

The Industrial HVAC Technician will perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. This includes air handling units, chillers, heat pumps, exhaust fans, fan coil units, variable air volume boxes, motors, and pumps. The role also involves performing repairs on HVACR systems and equipment, as well as related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge or experience in piping/plumbing repair, HVAC fundamentals, belt replacement, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting.
• Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
• Works well independently and with others.
• Good communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 to 4 years’ experience

Responsibilities

• Performs routine repairs and preventative maintenance to a variety of building heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment including air handling units, chillers, heat pumps, exhaust fans, fan coil units, variable air volume boxes, motors, and pumps.
• Perform repairs of HVACR systems and equipment including air handling units, chillers, heat pumps, exhaust fans, fan coil units, variable air volume boxes, motors, pumps, air distribution machinery, pneumatic and digital controls, hot and chilled water distribution and variable volume systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
