About The Position

Summer 2026 Internship: Be a Part of the Lynchburg DC Industrial Engineering Team. Join us for a 10-week summer internship at J.Crew Group, where you’ll gain unparalleled insight into how we build meaningful, lasting connections with customers while delivering quality, timeless style. At our Distribution Centers in North Carolina and Virginia, we use innovative technologies, strategies, and processes to anticipate and exceed customer expectations. Our DC team is responsible for the strategic transportation and distribution of merchandise through our multichannel supply chain. As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you’ll play an active role in supporting Distribution Center performance through hands-on involvement in engineered labor standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and automation and capital projects. Working alongside cross-functional teams and leaders at all levels—from fellow interns to the executive team—you’ll gain exposure to a fast-paced operational environment while applying industrial engineering principles and data analysis to improve productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost. This role also provides the opportunity to participate in time studies that directly support the implementation of LMS standards within our Distribution Center network.

Requirements

  • A current student pursuing a bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, with an expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • An analytical mindset.
  • An eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities
