About The Position

This is a 10-week summer internship opportunity at J.Crew Group, focusing on the Lynchburg Distribution Center's Industrial Engineering team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in engineered labor standards, continuous improvement initiatives, and automation/capital projects. The role involves working with cross-functional teams and leaders to apply industrial engineering principles and data analysis to enhance productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost. The internship also includes participation in time studies to support the implementation of LMS standards within the Distribution Center network.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, with an expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication abilities.
• An analytical mindset.
• Eagerness to learn.

• Product driven individual.
• Ideally experienced in retail, production, or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Support Distribution Center performance through hands-on involvement in engineered labor standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to automation and capital projects.
• Apply industrial engineering principles and data analysis to improve productivity, service, safety, quality, and cost.
• Participate in time studies that directly support the implementation of LMS standards within our Distribution Center network.
