Infosys•Wichita, KS

About The Position

The Industrial Engineer works in the assigned job role of Engineering Consultant 2 within Infosys’s Engineering unit. The role supports product-centric value delivery through engineering solutions and contributes to a data-first approach to engineering and value-stream management. The team uses technologies such as AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to improve delivery processes and accelerate time to market. The position applies industrial engineering methods to analyze production systems and improve capacity, equipment utilization, workflow, layouts, product flow, cost control, inventory control, and production processes. It uses discrete-event simulation to evaluate complex production systems and develops time standards and standard work for shop-floor operations. The role also contributes to engineering design, prototyping, validation, technical integration, documentation, and continuous improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role now or in the future.
