The Industrial Engineer supports the transition of new products, technologies, processes, and manufacturing capabilities from design into production. The role works closely with Product Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to help ensure products and processes are ready for safe, efficient, repeatable, and scalable production. The position supports First-of-a-Kind (FOK) builds, manufacturing readiness, product launches, process validation, capacity planning, factory readiness, and continuous improvement. It applies industrialization methodologies and manufacturing engineering principles to identify and resolve launch risks, establish production requirements, validate manufacturing processes, and develop scalable manufacturing capabilities. Depending on the area of focus, the role may support electrical or mechanical industrialization, factory and capacity industrialization, or supply chain and vertical integration industrialization. The engineer delivers assigned industrialization activities on schedule and escalates risks that could affect product, process, material, capacity, or manufacturing readiness.
