About The Position

Dumaplast USA is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join a great team in Canton, GA. Dumaplast specializes in making high quality kitchen, bathroom, and office surfaces. This is a night shift position with a swing shift schedule, working from 7pm to 7am.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in production maintenance.
  • At least one year of experience working with 12-volt through 480-volt electrical systems, including three-phase power.
  • Experience with motor controls, VFDs, electrical panels, and industrial wiring methods.
  • At least one year of experience maintaining process control systems.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
  • Installs, maintains, and repairs 480V three-phase electrical systems, including motors, drives, panels, and control circuits.
  • Reads and interprets electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and blueprints to support troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Performs lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensures compliance with electrical safety standards when working on energized or de-energized equipment.
  • Tests and diagnoses electrical components using multimeters, megohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Troubleshoots motor controls, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), starters, relays, and control panels operating at up to 480V.
  • Assists in planning repair work using drawings or equipment manuals as needed.
  • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician, including drywall, painting, doors, and building fixtures.
  • Performs routine maintenance of material transfer piping.
  • Conducts preventive maintenance on electrical distribution systems and production equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance; keeps track of spare electrical components and inventory.
  • Troubleshoots and solves problems in electrical systems, PLC controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Maintains production machinery, electrical, and mechanical systems and equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial electrical safety practices, including NFPA 70E standards (preferred).
  • Vocational diploma, technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Industrial Electrical (480V systems): 1 year (Preferred)
  • Strong welding, fabricating, and metal repair of equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs such individual assignments as the supervisor may direct; establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation, and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
