Industrial Electrician - 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift

Large Power Systems Division (LPSD): We design and manufacture the most comprehensive lineup of large diesel and natural gas engines in the industry, as well as engine components and powertrains.
Requirements
- Completion of a field-related college degree, electrical apprenticeship, technical school, previous experience, military training, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of electronics, electronic controls, and PLC logic.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities on complex electrical/electronic manufacturing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot motors, transformers, communication devices, and electronic controllers on machine tools, industrial robots, welders, and overhead lifting equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Building, installing, and repairing electrical and electronic circuits used on machine tools and plant equipment.
- Applying knowledge of the operation of electrical units and systems to test and diagnose malfunctions.
- Applying knowledge of operation of electronic circuits to locate defects using instruments.
- Testing faulty equipment.
- Applying knowledge of operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose malfunctions.
- Utilizing oscilloscopes, signal generators, electronic counters, recorders, etc.
- Calibrating and servicing electronic testing instruments.
- Performing preventive maintenance.
