About The Position
We’re hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician to support critical plant operations during nights and weekends. This is a 2nd shift role (Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm) offering competitive hourly pay with an off-shift premium, a sign-on bonus for qualified external candidates, and a stable, long-term role in an aerospace industrial environment. The role includes hands-on work with PLCs, VFDs, and high-voltage systems, with initial paid training on 1st shift before transitioning to off-shift.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industrial/manufacturing electrician experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working independently on off-shift
- Experience with PLCs and high-voltage equipment (up to 600V)
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Siemens PLC experience
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair 240V & 460V three-phase electrical systems
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control issues on industrial machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep production running
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic, and blueprints
- Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and analog signals
- Support emergency repairs and participate in an on-call rotation
- Follow all safety, lockout/tagout, and EHS procedures
- Occasionally assist with minor mechanical repairs
