About The Position

BBEC, LLC is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Foreman to lead and supervise electrical teams on various industrial projects. This role involves ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license is required; Master Electrician license is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Proven experience working with various industrial electrical systems, including motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and high-voltage distribution.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant electrical safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving electrical issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
  • Master Electrician license is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of industrial electricians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, project timelines, and quality standards.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate daily work activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and equipment allocation.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to determine proper wiring installations and ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, lighting systems, and other electrical equipment and components.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve electrical issues in industrial machinery and systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Train and develop team members on new electrical techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA).
