About The Position

SimpliSafe is seeking an Industrial Designer to help design the next generation of home security products. Working closely with Design Leads, the designer will understand customer needs and pain points, translate user needs into compelling concepts, and bring innovative physical products from early ideation through mass production. The role is suited to a creative, detail-oriented problem solver who excels at early-stage concepting, rapid hands-on prototyping, and preserving design intent through execution. The position is based in Boston, Massachusetts. SimpliSafe uses a hybrid work model, with teams expected to work together in the office on two core days, typically Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, and work from the location of their choice for the remainder of the week. There is a strong preference for onsite collaboration Tuesday through Thursday. The role contributes to SimpliSafe’s Design Language System and works collaboratively with Design, Product Management, Engineering, User Research, UX, and manufacturing partners. The target annual base pay range is $86,300–$115,000. Total rewards may also include participation in the annual bonus program, equity, and medical, retirement, and lifestyle benefits.
