About The Position

This role involves performing general cleaning duties in an industrial setting. Responsibilities include blowing down areas, sweeping and disposing of materials, shoveling, and operating equipment like scissor lifts and sky jacks. The position also requires documenting inspections and maintenance, handling heavy cleaning tasks, using air pressure equipment, and reporting any necessary repairs. A clean and safe working environment must be maintained, along with performing other assigned cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Working with heights/Fall Training (willing to train)
• Experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (willing to train)
• Excellent attendance & punctuality
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Fast learner who is able to follow instructions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours
• Ability to work with minimum or no supervision

Nice To Haves

• Forklift License ideal (willing to train)
• Previous experience as an industrial cleaner is an asset

Responsibilities

• Blowing down designated areas
• Sweeping and discarding foreign material into a tip bin for disposal
• Shoveling
• Cleaning on a scissor lift and sky jack
• Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carrying out heavy cleaning tasks and cleaning up after production processes
• Working with air pressure equipment
• Notifying management of any issues or repairs needed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Other cleaning duties as assigned
