About The Position
Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Industrial Cleaner to perform cleaning tasks specified in the contract between the company and its customer in an industrial environment. The cleaner reports problems or suspicious activity to the appropriate supervisor or manager. The role offers full-time openings on all shifts, with on-the-job training provided. Starting pay is $11.50 per hour, paid weekly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of experience in a janitorial-type position.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Empty trash and recycling.
- Clean restrooms using disinfectants and bathroom cleaners; restock supplies; remove trash; clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers; and sweep or wet mop floors.
- Clean the plant floor and machinery.
- Keep closets clean, neat, and orderly.
- Report problems or suspicious activity to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned and required by the scope of work or customer needs.
