About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to join our team. This role involves performing general cleaning duties, including blowing down areas, sweeping, shoveling, and managing waste disposal. You will also be responsible for cleaning on elevated work platforms like scissor lifts and sky jacks, performing routine inspections and maintenance documentation, and handling heavy cleaning tasks, including post-production cleanup. The job requires working with air pressure equipment, reporting any necessary repairs to management, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Additional cleaning duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Excellent attendance and punctuality.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Fast learner who is able to follow instructions.
Ability to stand for long periods of time up to 12 hours.
Ability to work with minimum or no supervision.

Nice To Haves

Working with heights/Fall Training (willing to train).
Experience operating Elevated Work Platforms (willing to train).
Forklift License ideal (willing to train).
Previous experience as an industrial cleaner is an asset.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties such as blowing down designated areas, sweeping, and discarding foreign material into a tip bin for disposal.
Shovel materials as needed.
Clean on a scissor lift and sky jack (training provided).
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and clean up after production processes.
Work with air pressure equipment.
Notify management of any issues or repairs needed.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Perform other cleaning duties as assigned.
