About The Position

Goodkind is hiring an Industrial Cleaner to keep production running smoothly by maintaining clean and sanitized production areas and properly cleaning equipment to help prevent cross-contamination. Reporting to the Compounding Manager, this role also supports production by staging and preparing materials, following standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and maintaining an organized, sanitary work environment. The cleaner communicates with the supervisor, adjusts priorities when needed, and contributes to a positive team dynamic by assisting coworkers and supervisors. Other duties may be assigned. Goodkind, founded in 2010 and based in the Austin area, manufactures natural personal care and beauty products and is a certified B Corporation. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven.
Able to lift 30–50 pounds.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to reach, crouch, bend, and scrub.
Available during regular operating hours and for occasional Saturday shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

Clean and inspect production equipment, including filling machines, compounding equipment, tanks, homogenizers, pumps, pots, and stainless steel parts.
Clean and inspect production areas.
Support production activities by staging and preparing materials such as boxes and components.
Follow standard operating procedures to ensure cleaning meets quality requirements.
Maintain an organized and sanitary work environment.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines for production.
Communicate with the supervisor throughout the day and shift priorities as needed on short notice.
Help build a positive team dynamic by assisting peers and supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
