About The Position

Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia is working with NVIDIA to develop an industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. The AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers, with Deutsche Telekom providing secure, sovereign infrastructure, data centers, operations, security, and AI solutions.

The Senior DevOps Engineer consults with functional organizations on implementing DevOps culture and technologies, prepares prototypes and concepts for automation, and drives continuous improvement. The role owns the lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches. It designs, develops, tests, implements, and supports ICT components and applications for the AI Cloud platform, and develops services and automation processes that meet efficiency and standardization requirements. The engineer advises employees and customers on technical aspects, delivers project outcomes, maintains and enhances product pipelines, integrates pipelines with platforms and infrastructure, and analyzes pipeline runtime errors. The role also mentors colleagues, leads technical activities across related technologies and teams, and manages integration with partner applications.

Remote work is available only within Slovakia. The final salary is negotiable, with a base salary starting at €2,900 gross, plus a variable component and other financial benefits. A €3,000 sign-on bonus is stated in the job title.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with GPU-based infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes container technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with automation tools and deployments such as Ansible, Salt-stack, Terraform, or Helm.
• Experience with CI/CD in a Kubernetes environment and repository management.
• Experience with Git automation, including GitHub or GitLab, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong experience with Linux OS.
• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• English language proficiency at B2 level.
• Good communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Basic project management overview.
• Basic leadership skills.
• Intermediate overview of quality management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support ICT components and applications for the AI Cloud platform.
