About The Position

ORBIS is seeking an Indirect Buyer to support corporate and service‑related purchasing activities across the organization. In this role, you’ll manage supplier relationships, issue purchase orders, monitor performance, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure goods and services are procured efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in compliance with company policies. This role is ideal for a procurement professional who enjoys balancing tactical execution with relationship management and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, operations, or project management.
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP, MRP planning, and procurement systems required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
  • Process‑oriented mindset with an interest in continuous improvement.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and manage time‑sensitive activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment and supporting business needs outside standard hours when required.
  • Ability to obtain a passport is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Procure indirect goods and services, preparing purchase orders and supply contracts in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Verify purchase order accuracy and document supplier performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assess supplier capabilities, and recommend adjustments to support business needs.
  • Communicate specifications, commercial terms, and safety or environmental requirements to suppliers and partners.
  • Track shipment status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to quality, specifications, order requirements, and delivery issues.
  • Provide data and insights to sourcing leadership to support cost control and identify savings opportunities.
  • Maintain proficiency in procurement systems, SAP, and related business applications.
  • Ensure compliance with Menasha Corporation’s Supplier Code of Conduct.
