About The Position

As an IT Buyer, you will play a critical role in supporting the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential to building and launching our Terran R rockets. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing aligned with our mission to revolutionize aerospace through additive manufacturing.

Requirements

• Proficiency in procurement, supply chain, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or Netsuite.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience in purchase order creation and invoice management.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• At least 3 years of purchasing experience within IT or indirect purchasing in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requests into purchase orders using ERP systems efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather procurement requirements and translate them into RFQs and POs.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to optimize value for the business.
• Manage supplier relationships under the guidance of Category Managers to ensure quality and reliability.
• Resolve procurement issues throughout the lifecycle of an order, including invoice discrepancies and delivery delays.
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
