About The Position

Catholic Charities Maine is hiring Independent Support Services Workers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes located in Rockland & Thomaston, Maine. This role offers flexible, meaningful work where you can make a difference every day by helping clients remain independent in their homes.

Requirements

• Reliable personal vehicle (required)
• Basic technology skills (required)
• Active email address
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., walk, climb stairs, and perform household tasks
• Must have your own reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Daily travel between client homes is required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients remain independent in their homes
• Provide housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Run errands (groceries, pharmacy, appointments)
• Transport clients using your personal vehicle
• Offer companionship and support with daily tasks
• Follow care plans and complete simple online documentation
