About The Position

Catholic Charities Maine is hiring Independent Support Services Workers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes located in Columbia Falls and surrounding areas in Washington County, Maine. This role offers flexible, meaningful work where you can make a difference every day by helping clients remain independent in their homes.

Requirements

• Reliable personal vehicle
• Basic technology skills
• Active email address
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs., walk, climb stairs, and perform household tasks
• Must have your own reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• Daily travel between client homes is required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients remain independent in their homes
• Provide housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
• Run errands (groceries, pharmacy, appointments)
• Transport clients using your personal vehicle
• Offer companionship and support with daily tasks
• Follow care plans and complete simple online documentation
