About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is seeking Sprinter and Cargo Van owner-operators to work under a written independent contractor agreement. The company offers freight loads, dispatch support, personalized load selection based on driver preferences, and rates that can be negotiated with dispatchers. Dispatchers have at least four years of experience. Loads are available Monday through Friday. Payment is made within 3–5 business days, with a 3% quick-pay option. The posting states a minimum average monthly salary of $8,000 or more, depending on the vehicle, willingness to work, payload, and Hazmat or TSA/TWIC credentials. The company does not hire company drivers.

Requirements

Own a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
Be a US citizen, resident, green card holder, or holder of work authorization.
The owner-operator and any drivers must be at least 21 years old.
The owner-operator and any drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English.
At least six months of driving experience.
Sprinters must be no older than 2016.
Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE, and all decals must be removed.
All drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a load.
Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
Execute a written independent contractor agreement as an owner-operator.

Russian language ability is also accepted.
Hazmat certificate and TSA/TWIC credentials may affect earnings.

Responsibilities

Operate an owner-operated Sprinter or Cargo Van to transport freight loads.
Coordinate with dispatchers and communicate load preferences so suitable loads can be offered.
Ensure all drivers are approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a company load.
Inform the company before putting the vehicle on the road if making changes to it.
Provide vehicle registration and insurance documentation.
