About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is seeking Sprinter and cargo van owner-operators for nationwide freight work under a written independent contractor agreement. The company does not hire company drivers. Owner-operators may negotiate rates with dispatchers and are offered loads tailored to their preferences. Dispatchers have more than four years of experience and broker contacts. Payment is made within 3–5 business days, with a 3% quick-pay option. The stated operating days are Monday through Friday.

Rates listed for Sprinters are $0.85–$1.35 per mile in good areas and $0.85–$1.10 per mile in bad areas for long miles. Canada Sprinter rates are $1.25–$1.55 per mile. The posting describes minimum average monthly earnings of $8,000 or more, depending on vehicle, willingness to work, payload, and Hazmat or TSA/TWIC credentials.

Requirements

• Own a Sprinter or cargo van.
• Be a US citizen, resident, green card holder, or work authorization holder.
• The owner-operator and drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• The owner-operator and drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English.
• Have at least six months of driving experience.
• Sprinter vehicles must be model year 2016 or newer.
• Vehicles must have at least four straps and PPE.
• Remove all decals from the vehicle.
• Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• Drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before taking a company load.

Responsibilities

• Operate as an owner-operator under a written independent contractor agreement.
