About The Position

The role is for an Independent Contractor or Owner Operator who owns or leases a cargo van and supports the pickup and delivery of bulky construction materials. Contractors operate their own van on scheduled pickups and deliveries, with consistent routes and steady demand. Compensation is calculated based on the distance traveled and the weight of materials hauled. Payment is weekly, except during the first week while payment history is established.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must own or lease a cargo van that is at least 10 feet long; examples include a Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, or Mercedes Sprinter.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have proven delivery driving experience, with an emphasis on safety and professionalism.
• Must have experience operating cargo vans.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy items and be comfortable with the physical demands of the role.
• Must have strong communication and customer service skills.
• Cargo van auto liability insurance must have a minimum $100,000 combined single limit.
• Cargo insurance must have a minimum $25,000 limit per occurrence.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cargo van to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries.
• Load, secure, and unload materials, primarily construction materials.
• Handle and transport items with care.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and recipients.
• Maintain accurate delivery records using mobile apps or paper logs.
• Follow all safety and transportation guidelines.
