About The Position

Crosstown Couriers is seeking motivated Independent Contract Drivers to partner with us. Since 1984, we have been committed to "Care in Every Delivery™", providing superior delivery solutions that support local businesses and families. Drivers play a vital role in transporting critical items such as lifesaving medication, organs, tissue samples, medical equipment, and supplies to hospitals, medical facilities, and patients. We partner with customer-focused, detail-oriented drivers who adhere to the highest ethical standards, including compliance with HIPAA and customer-specific requirements. We offer both routed and on-demand delivery services, with new drivers typically starting with on-demand deliveries and opportunities to transition to routed services.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check (including a 3-year Motor Vehicle Record and a 7-year criminal history covering federal, state, and county records).
• Must pass a 9-panel drug screening.
• Must have adequate vehicle insurance.
• Must have a 2016 or newer fuel-efficient vehicle.
• Must adhere to the Customer Appearance Policy.
• Must have certifications in FWA, HIPAA, and Blood-borne Pathogens.
• Must have Hazmat Training for Radio-pharmaceuticals.
• Must have TSA approval or certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage own work and consistently deliver top-notch service.
• Transport critical items like lifesaving medication, organs, tissue samples, medical equipment, and supplies.

• Provide routed and on-demand delivery services.
