About The Position
AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking experienced Independent Contractors to assemble products purchased through Home Improvement retailer’s websites. This opportunity allows experienced individuals in furniture assembly, handyman services, home improvement projects, or product installation to grow their business while maintaining schedule flexibility. Contractors are paid per completed assembly, with annual earnings potentially ranging from $40,000-$100,000+ depending on market, availability, and volume accepted. The pay structure includes base rates per item for furniture, patio furniture, and grills.
Requirements
- Assembly, handyman, installation, or home improvement experience a plus
- Own tools required for assembly work
- Must have reliable transportation with required insurance coverage
- Smartphone with internet access
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Professional appearance and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Assemble furniture, grills, patio sets, and other home improvement products in customers' homes
- Follow manufacturer instructions and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service
- Report job completion through a smartphone app
- Maintain required insurances
