The Independence Coach is a Case Manager position providing a combination of remote and face-to-face clinical support and interventions toward independence. These interventions include the use of Technology as appropriate toward individuals’ goals and needs. This includes having an advanced knowledge of the philosophy behind Remote Supports and the use of Enabling Technology to achieve self-directed lives, as well as effective clinical skills including an understanding of Motivational, Interviewing, Person-Centered Care, Trauma Informed Care, Maslow's Hierarchy of needs, and "Warm-Handoff" linkage services. Must have effective communication and team-work abilities.
