Our Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials are received and meet established quality standards and specifications before they are released for production. You will play a critical role in maintaining product quality, reducing defects, and supporting overall operational efficiency. You'll also provides operational support for sample logistics and shipment handling and other warehouse functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • California Driver’s License as Required
  • Previous work experience in a lab preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task with flexibility based on schedules, and work independently (in a team environment)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fulfillment activities including delivery of temperature sensitive critical reagents to labs, Kanban of plastic supplies and completing transactions in an ERP system
  • Ability to create and maintain spreadsheet on a need basis and report metrics to supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting and verifying incoming materials, components, and products against specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Documenting inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identifying, segregating, and reporting non-conforming materials that do not meet specifications and perform investigations.
  • Supporting quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
  • Performing secondary verification of product labeling, including part numbers, lot numbers, and regulatory information.
  • Delivering temperature sensitive material to labs, supporting work orders and ensuring that all necessary transactions are completed in the ERP system including but not limited to Material Issuance, Transfer Orders, Work Orders, and Inventory Transfers.
  • Performing receipt of incoming materials in Oracle, verifying quantities and documentation to support accurate financial reporting and operational tracking.
  • Assisting with scanning, sorting, and loading of incoming FedEx packages to ensure timely and compliant delivery and chain of custody.
  • Working cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, R/D, and Supply Chain.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
