The IQC (Inbound Quality Control) Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials used in production by conducting thorough inspections and testing upon arrival. This role is crucial in maintaining the standards of our manufacturing process and upholding our commitment to quality.

Requirements

  • Experience with laboratory testing equipment and quality inspection procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team to solve quality-related issues.
  • Proficiency in data entry and quality management systems.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to take on various tasks as required by the company's needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Further certification in quality control is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment for incoming material inspections.
  • Conduct sample tests on raw materials and accurately record inspection results.
  • Analyze data related to raw material performance on the production line to evaluate supplier quality and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) to troubleshoot and resolve material usage issues in the production process.
  • Input all inspection data into the company's quality system for traceability and compliance purposes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on material quality trends and supplier performance.
  • Manage additional tasks and projects as directed by the Quality Manager or other senior leadership.
